They didn't bother fleshing the characters out so most of the scenario is a cop-out.
Coming to add more to my comment:
I don't necessarily hate the concept. I don't even hate the "happy" ending. I just wish it talked more about the issues with fated pairs when you have your heart set on someone else.
In most omegaverse stories, fated pairs turn out alright because the two happened to not be connected to anyone else and the inner turmoil is just between the 2. But here we have 2 couples who were torn by that fate.
It's easily missed, but it briefly mentioned that the fated pair omega (I'll refer to him as FPO) locked himself away whenever he was in heat and the drug overdose is what put him in a coma. That's not Nanase's fault, but certainly Nanase didn't try too hard to help.
Rather than Nanase and FPO work something out, both of them go through extremes. Now, I'll talk about how I wish Nanase's route went:
Nanase seems straight forward in his pursuit of Eito, but suddenly his personality changes and he seems self-sacrificing. Wurt?? The author seems to miss the ingredient I was looking for. Is he insane, but sweet for Eito? Or was he sweet but driven insane by circumstances? It starts out as one and then the author remembers they wanted to do the other. Honestly, I prefer the former but would like the latter play out. For that to happen, a disappearing act shouldn't have happened. I wish he was confronted with his distorted feelings of not liking the fated pair system. It's weird we're shown his distaste for omegas, but he's desperately trying to change Eito into the thing he hates rather than him not being with him as he is. In that case, he doesn't hate omegas, he just doesn't like being controlled by their pheromones.
I wish FPO didn't have as much screen time as he did because it added no value.

I'm tired of y'all complaining about "the harem" when he has no interest in any of them (and people who read the novel has mentioned this before). He never will. It's all one sided. The whole joke about this manwha is the miscommunication he has with everyone.
And you can't expect the children, who weren't normal to begin with, too behave normally.
Is not about if the mc is not interested, is about the (majority) of readers not being interested. For once we dont want to read borderline pedo shit. I wont deny im a gooner but that doesnt mean i would swallow every harem slop that comes my way. Having a story not make an adopted child falling in love with the mc is not that much of an ask lol idgaf if those 5 kids were born unhinged it doesnt change the fact the the creator is deprave for even putting the idea out there...
He's not that much older than them from what I remember. Either way, people are reacting this way because they keep thinking he's going to end up with one of them and he's literally just trying to pursue knowledge of magic and doesn't have a romantic bone in his body.
Aside from that, they weren't adopted by him but HE does think of them as family. He only sponsored them at the orphanage and from a distance, so they didn't establish the bond he thought he made. That's why everyone, including the male characters, are confused when he says he sees them as family. Not one of them thought of him that way. Anything else is from their wild imaginations. He can't help that they were always meant to be insane
I don't like either characters' personality. This method of miscommunication troupe is overused, too.

Re-read this and though some scenes seem unnecessary, it isn't that strange if you look at it from Caesar's POV. He's emotionally stunted and being with Leewon made him feel so many things at once for the first time.
I was looking more into Vladimir this go though. He has bad manners, too, while talking about Caesar having bad manners. The first time I read this though, I thought he was in love with Mikhail and that's why he was willing to date Leewon. But no. He's infatuated with Mikhail but not in a romantic way. He just wants to do so much for him since he feels like his life is debt to Mikhail. On the other end, he may have started to gain an inkling of interest in Leewon because he shares some of Mikhail's traits (and is beautiful). Like Caesar said, he (Vlad) fell for Leewon all on his own and is making excuses. Some of those scenes were so rushed that I didn't fully pick up on that.
Still, I wish we saw Dimitri dead. Couldn't stand him... But glad that it was on Caesar's to-do list
