hiii, i’m trying to fulfill a dream i’ve had since i was 15 to make my own webcomic! i just wanna gauge on what tropes to avoid and which tropes people are into these days. i have my own preferences but i’m still stuck lmfao. what’s your favorite trope, and which do you not like or think are over-used? if you have any examples, please share!
thanks in advance! (=・ω・=)
hello, and firstly good luck with your webcomic! hope it goes well! and i would love to see your process some time if you wish to share!
second, one trope i really dislike is neglecting side characters or the plot to make the protagonist very op. the story becomes very monotonous then. like "everything depends on the mc now" nope, team work makes the dream work. i prefer seeing a more inclusive approach. makes the story more immersive.
also, comedy! is an essential ingredient to any story! always put in a little silly funny in there. even if its dark humor.
thats all from my side!
recs with manly ukes? trying to find a list but i lost it
