Does it have a sad/bad ending?

The ending is happy........buuuuuut if i tell you , you cannot enjoy the plot twist

It does have ( seme becomes super green after his own death) but there's still an aftertaste that I can't forget

They both died few seconds apart and got a second chance in 2023, but seme jumped in his new before uke with all memories of what he done. so he can just watch uke's new body without knowing if his soul will reincarnate at all. And he had to wait for 13 years and that's pretty all of his punishment

And of course he's sorry...

Before they died, seme acknowledged that uke was innocent. It was the goal and revenge of real culprit - so uke can never forgive seme

Uke, while recovering got into a deep depression, was very resentful to seme and tried to off himself. Seme walked around uke and "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." like all the time - uke softened to him a little. And after that, they died.
So They reunited in that point of their relationship in the future ( i mean when uke comes after 13 years later than seme)

Yeah, it's a good read, but like i said in my original post the concept of "impossible separation from each other" is pissing me off. It's like you'll never get a different chance to live your life well without "that" person

So for the sake of the plot, author gave the Uke no other options huh.
Because logically speaking, who would be dumb enough to stay with their abuser.
Seems like author-nim couldn’t come up with a better plot, and made it convenient…
