As the world falls deeper and deeper into ai and slop, we need to make spaces that let beginners exist and develop, these comments are awful to read and im disappointed in this community especially as we arent even paying to read this.

Everybody starts somewhere and i can guarantee as ai and brain rot become more and more prevalent in our day to day lives that younger generations will not only lose the will to spend time learning to create art but also lose the courage to post them on the internet, after reading comments like this i myself would be too embarrassed to post anything online for fear that i would never be good enough.

When i was younger i remember consuming years worth of awfully written webtoons, doujins, novels and short panel comics on tumblr, a03, watt pad and other odd corners of the internet, people were allowed to be bad and were allowed to still post their work and exist within a community and grow without being torn down.

Sadly i can say that those areas of the internet have mostly died and there are very few places outside of instagram ( and even that doesnt have a fraction of the life that these old platforms had before their peak years) and as the world progresses and everybody becomes more nonchalant and unwilling to show an imperfect side of them due to online comments such as im seeing under this webtoon, we are going to lose a whole generation of new creatives as they have no space to be bad and grow while surrounded by a community that supports them and helps them reach their future potential

Maybe we have been spoiled by consuming the super polished webtoons we see everywhere nowadays but my god, if we attack and complain instead of support and encourage new or emerging authors and artists we are going to loose a craft and be left with nothing but old masters and ai slop.

In this day and age where brain rot has now become the norm and the cost of living has made life for many people incredibly difficult, we shouldnt be shooting down people who are still trying to produce work. Even before ai, manga, art and literature have been known to be incredibly time consuming fields with few future prospects. Yet people do it for the love of the craft,

If you want to have new stories to read in the future that isn't over produced ai slop then everybody should get a grip and allow beginners to have a space and support them without being absolute jackasses, better yet just don't leave a comment and go read the works of already accomplished authors and artists if reading the work of a beginner artist bothers you so much

We should be doing out part in making sure the youth still create and we dont lose an entire generation to ai slop and brain rot, i hope to see more bad begginer works because my god do we need them

P.s, i dont even this this is that bad, the art and writing are a little rough around the edges but as people were saying, this is from the pov of an obviously messed up guy with amnesia, i can see the vision and im exited to see where this goes and im glad i can be on this journey with the artist and the story and watch as it progresses and improves, we can only go up from here if we give them a chance

Um no? Thats not how it always works. Usually in situations like these the abused spend so much time trying to survive that they dont really have time to process what had happened. Extreme cases where they do violently take charge and get revenge are actually extremely rare and most of the time the abused simply want to leave the situation they are in. Cheap revenge plots are so overused and not super realistic. Abused people arent filled with anger ready go burst at their abuser. Theyre scared and alone and if anything dont really feel anything. Not hate, anger or sadness, it is usually just a sort of emptiness, and if its a situation where family are involved then things become more complicated, as even though the family has hurt you they are still family and so most people in this situation do tend to just leave and cut their family off without doing anything.

Also her choosing to leave on her own accord is the best and most realistic choice she could have made as that allows her to have time to think to herself and process what has happened, its usually after this period where people make decisions on revenge or not.

The story is not bland, it is realistic and fantastically done for only being 8 chapters in, the direction theyve chosen will allow the character to get more time to develop her feelings and process what had actually happened and start healing from there.

If what you want is a cheap substanceless revenge plot with badly written trauma that appeals to middle class suburban kids that havent gone through the real world then this most likely isnt for you. Alot of trauma survivors are usually really calm in their demeanor. But i dont deny the existence of the violent, angry trauma survors, but if they were to be violent and angry this story would be the wrong setting. You dont go from completely weak and isolated to violent overnight, there must be a build up in order to execute that properly. Think american sniper, kill bill, or Joker

Good examples of these kinds of situations in other manga/manwha are probably anything by harada, but specifically yamamoto,

MADK,
Kings Maker,
Robin and Law in onepiece,
The way to protect the female leads older brother,
I tamed a tryant then ran away
Kill the villainess
OUROBOROS
I dont love you anymore
Painter of the night
I raised the beast well
Where the dragon rain falls
Men of the harem ( not abuse )
Shadow queen
The flower dance and the wind song
Etc..

And you might think that some of these have the female leads getting revenge, but these characters have not only had time to reflect before gettong stronger but also know what the future will play out like,
Our charachter not only doesnt know what the future will play out like but is also still in what i would say is the backstory phase that the other manwha/mangas have skipped to get to the interesting part.

I personally have high expectations of this and am exited to see where it goes
