Well if I recall well he just forgot that most important part, litteraly at the root of all the misunderstanding : he never told the sème that in fact he never were in a relationship and the ring is a fake used as a repellent for others. If I were the sème I wouldnt trust someone saying I love you u are the only one if in my mind they are married! So yes the sème should be more forward and asks the right questions but at the same Time I get why he doesnt want to. The uke thought doesnt have any excuses for not coming clean about his whole fake ring and not being in a relationship?
