I only read the beginning of this and had to stop because the old guy made me so uncomfortable, but is it worth continuing? I loved the beginning and the main characters but there are obviously very heavy themes. Could anyone tell me how bad it actually gets? I’m mostly worried about the scenes of the uke being abused. If it is random people it is tolerable because I can skim through.
I read back through and there's only one scene in which ml only wants mc halfway in, but mc goes all the way in anyways. it's due to the fact he doesnt want his boss to know. ml ends up crying on the bed after he comes because he knows he will be punished by his boss—the beginning is full of miscommunications, I dont recall them ever setting up a safe word but most of ml trauma is linked to his boss. its... presumably going to be messy until ml tells mc what's going on, or mc finds out. mc is really hotheaded but so far that's the only scene. i would say it's toxic but it's really moreso that ml is deeply traumatized, mc wants to "save" him but doesn't know how.
Aside from that scene, I also didn't like chap 24, I know it's a scene to force out a confession from ML but it's just angry sex all over again. I know ML wasn't clear about his intentions for approaching MC but ML was clear when he said he could get into trouble with his trashy boss, MC even witnessed ML breakdown, he witnessed him get drugged, yet MC was somewhat blaming him? Eventho I understand why he got frustrated maybe thinking ML was toying with him but bruh forgot he SA'd and crossed ML's boundaries before lmao yet he want to blame ML? Okay
I didn't like MC in S1, he is childish, selfish and borderline abusive. But y'know what, a character can be flawed and messy. Atleast now in S2, they are addressing his anger issues. The chapter ended up again with MC being angry. But idk, the ML seems to be tolerant about it all despite wanting a "safe space". Maybe he loves rough sex so much and being folded like that lol
He is much more gentler and apologetic in the first chapters compared to the latter chapters. He went crazy wild the moment he found out about the boss, iirc. Idk maybe the boss fetishes reminds him of his own fetishes. y'know his dreams are quite similar to the artwork of the boss iirc Hahaha yea jk, I'm just blabbing lol
Yeah, I did notice that in the beginning. I don’t remember exactly what chapter I read up to though. I think it was after the office scene with the boss that I stopped because it was gross. Idk why this one had me so stressed when I can usually tolerate heavy themes and most manhwa does have sexual assault but I got the vibe that the author wouldn’t shy away from showing the uke being sexually abused, so maybe that’s why I dropped it. It sucks to hear that the seme is kinda shitty towards the uke too. I hateeee when the semes are aware that their “partner” is traumatized and they still treat them like shit. Ugh I’ll definitely let it marinate or just skip around. Thanks for all the info!!!
I've checked the raws (29,30) and yea there's 1-2 chapters with the boss..doing stuffs to ML so that can get uncomfortable for you. There's no actual penetration but still can get pretty uncomfy. Poor ML
My opinion on the seme might be unpopular? Idk seems like most just view him as a hotheaded stupid guy madly in love. But atleast the story addressed his anger issues and how it myt end up hurting the one he loves.
Can they just wish for the other guy to die like
