Ok I've been re-reading this a couple of times and it gets weirder everytime (I was skeptical at first and gave it a chance so many times). Tei keep saying things that are not necessary and are weird like bro stop, please, with the words that comes out of his mouth, this felt so p3do and gr00mer like.
The art is 10/10, story wise, it's great but the gap is just way too off, still gonna read it though idk why either but yah since the first time they met it never sat right to me.
I have triggers too, though this is not one of them, felt uncomfortable still (this is only my opinion, everyone has their own likes and dislikes).
Reason for continuing, I guess the plot kinda hooked my curiosity and the art itself is scrumptious, could be better if shuraka was not a minor when they met and Tei should have chosen better words and not sounding like a gr00mer

ngl i was skeptical too but imo i think the age gap is fine bc he didn’t actually watch him grow up or anything. like they met very briefly and reunited much later. but maybe it’s bc of a story like tgcf that i read where hua cheng meets xie lian as a child… except they reunite like hundreds of years later . if i didn’t read that then maybe i’d think it was weirder
as for how tien speaks i can’t really remember his choice of words so idk. but yeah i’d prefer no age gap too
Well, what I mean by I hoped he met Shuraka at the right age is that, Tei swore his loyalty and became sort of a guardian to Shuraka, him meeting Shuraka at that age and treating him as a child and proceeds on being a guardian figure, then saying things like "I'm so glad you've grown enough to fill me all the way here." gurl what the actual f*ck, why would you say that to the person you cared as a child, you could've chosen words without sounding like a ped0
As much as I wanna defend Tei with my life, he's unsalvageable at this point, I gave him multiple benefits of the doubt, it's just a no no, I also asked for opinions and they thought the same

I'm not intending to defend the author but if we're actually reading in context we will know that Tei has trouble seeing Shuraka in that manner. Hence why he can't fully admit to loving him as his affection were rooted from the loyalty he has from wanting to protect the ML. That's why the Atura plot happened, so that he'll be able to go through that confusion. Him realizing that Shuraka is now a grown up is such a relief for him and not in the "finally you're 18 manner". It's important to highlight the fact that during that scene Tei is finally starting to understand his feelings and to see how Shuraka have grown it served as an answer to his confusion. Thus Tei now allowed himself to accept his feelings. He's not seeing him as the child he once knew, but rather the man he will give all his heart to.
I was also conflicted when I started reading this story, but after understanding Tei's character and the setting of the story I think this is not like that.
The plotline of Kouguu no Omega is very similar to this story. Perhaps it will give you some insight of Tei's point of view.

Well, the fact that the past was messed up and they weren't lovers was disappointing enough (because connection was crucial for a story and love to bloom), then proceeds on removing the original owner of mugo's body is so off, it's giving he loved the curse because there's 3 of 'em and not the person, it's a bit confusing that things end up like this, the art is 10/10 but the plot is 3/10, never been disappointed with something I was excited to read
Here's my take on this, I have a lot of people in my life that is svicidal and tends to s3lf hurt a lot, also this is my psychology enthusiast @ss speaking, so, PAIN isn't the same for everyone, and Mokyeon was strong enough to survive this long after all the things that has happen in his life, but that doesn't mean everyone should cater or be considerate of him, or tolerate his bad doings just because he cvt himself, (for example Nanjo), I'm also disappointed and sad in what happened to Mokyeon, but let's face it, Nanjo was hurt too, Nanjo was wronged, and Nanjo doesn't know what Mokyeon is going through or who Mokyeon really is, if you know what I mean. They are both hurt, and I hate that people keep on saying Nanjo this, Nanjo that just because Mokyeon did this, have y'all forgot that Mokyeon forced Nanjo into this situation? Have y'all forgotten that Nanjo was in love with Mokyeon's friend? He was a victim and what gave you the right to blame the victim, his reactions, his actions, they are all valid, they're all humane.

No one, Mokyeon obviously is not in the right state of mind, he needs help and he can't love Nanjo right in this state. He should take care of himself first, 'cause he can't love someone if he can't love himself kindly. As stated by him "figures, like h3ll would give me what I want that easily" it only shows how hopeless he is in life, and it's unhealthy that Nanjo was dragged into this mess, he has enough problems on his plate and Mokyeon added himself like a cherry on top.
Yes, I was pissed that Nanjo was not letting Mokyeon talk, and explain himself but we can't blame him for not facing Mokyeon, he has a growing love for the man and he was hurt by what he did, that's purely human feelings.
Yes, what Mokyeon did was unacceptable but he clang to the thought of someone finally loving him, he was a neglected child, he was a fragile soul, do you think we think the same, we make decisions the same way like others, no.
gosh beautifully said, I'm fully with you. people seem to just not acknowledge or directly ignore that Mokyeon is very traumatized and very damaged. His illness is not a justification, but a reason for his actions, and that doesn't make him a bad person per se, people aren't black and white. And also Nanjo was never at fault here... can't grasp how people think he is.

We have our own version of morality, and criticism are natural because sometimes when we see/hear things that are not within our morality it triggers us. What I'm trying to convey is, people are different and we shouldn't degrade/humiliate/bully just because we have our differences.
s3xual preferences and kinks develop from various factors that we cannot stop, and to sum it up, you yourself is not perfect and maybe you're worse compared to people you criticize, it's a good thing to have our morality but we cannot force other people fit in our own version of morality
What the h3ck, no one can blame no one at this point, obviously Mokyeon has a mental illness, and things are not looking good, the obsession he has for Nanjo, talk about biological reasons and upbringing of him resulting to this f*ck a** personality, which makes him more pitiful than he should be, after what he did. Also, Nanjo did the right thing too, he had self respect and protected himself, he was just starting to love Mokyeon and he screwed the developing love or developed love he had for him, such a waste.
