I think that would only weaken the kingdom as a whole if that happened. It seems like they need all the strength they can get moving forward to improve the lives of all. She’s a queen and has to always see the bigger picture now. Furthermore, they would only be getting off easy if they died. Need to repent and serve her for the rest of their lives.
