Am I the only one tired of the term “Strong Female Lead” but she’s never actually that strong? She’s either literally just using her fists instead of her brain or she’s isekai’d or gone back in time and just knows to pick another option. They usually aren’t that strong, just some guys (or girls) like her so they all do her dirty work or she finds some magical beast to make her life easy. I’d like more female lead’s that can analyze and actually lead a room, and by that I don’t mean “oh I said or did something completely minuscule to embarrass an annoying love rival but now everyone is obsessed with me”. Tired of ridiculous power ups and plot cushioning that doesn’t even make sense and just takes away from what should have belonged to some other character.
Obviously I read a lot of the historical isekai stories which might just be my fault but I definitely see this pattern in others as well.
Honestly just please feel free to suggest if you have some (het or yuri) cause these generic, cliche, you’ve read one you’ve read them all stories are destroying me lol

yeah, a lot of authors just slap on the title "strong FL" when they can fight. Strength doesn't have to mean physical ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ I'd rather read a story about a mentally strong woman who's got a good head than some oblivious lady who only uses her fists/magic/whatever... Most female characters lack any real depth or care, which sucks.
I want them to end up together so bad lmao my toxic brain is just like ‘she can fix him’
I say she will bring him back to life … back to reality back to life …sigh
I totally want them to be together. I want her to fix that ghost's psycho brain , then live happily ever after
