I hate how Jensen is giving Rissa some interest, specially after she said something homophobic. Ok Niel turned him down badly but Jensen is being a total jerk atm. I really dislike the "girl in the middle" BL trope and I'm disappointed this BL uses it while it had done a good job avoiding it so far. Also it's a bit misogynistic to use such a trope, because the woman will appear as a nuisance to the reader. Rissa was handled kinda well so far but the last chapter overstepped the boundary. Maybe Niel was right to push Jensen being unsure of a bi/pan guy who has never dated another guy before, it is something risky for a gay guy, after all, if you are after something serious.
It's not biphobic to state so, there is a social pressure for bi/pan guys to rather choose a SO which will be a woman, and there is a lot of bi guys in the community who date other guys for the fling and end up marrying a woman because of social pressure and because they have this opportunity, contrary to gay men.
Well I really loved this BL but I'm a bit disappointed by the outcome atm, at least Here U Are avoided this useless trope.
Thank you! Seems it's a bit conflicted in the support I get though! ^^ To make things clear, I'm not saying that bi/pan guys can't be serious with another guy, it's just it's less likely and understandable for a gay pow to be a bit distrustful especially when the guy never dated another guy before. I know all the BL/yaoi around show dedicated seme who just only fall for that one special significant other, after dating countless women, but it's not real life and it's a bit of a homophobic trope also. I wanted this BL not to fall into this sheme but Jensen agreeing to go on a date-ish like meeting with Risa is him acting like a typical straight dude with no consideration or insight towards people who are minorities (for now) compared to him. I know Niel acted badly but he should have forgiven him, given their respective social status, and try harder rather than feeding Niel's fears.
but she specifically brought up the father/mother dynamic alone as it applies closer to her and jensen situations to get her point across (male/female) with that in consideration there was no need going into further introspection on same sex partners or other peoples circumstances over a lighthearted commented. she wasn't being homophobic lol. we feel sympathetic towards niel so what she said to us just some off as ignorant or mean but there was no ill intent in anything she said.

I dont understand why everyone is pissed at Niel while it's Jensen who's going on a date with Rissa??
Jensen didn't go on a date with Rissa though? Also Jensen likes Niel not Rissa
they never went on a date rissa literally just popped out of nowhere while jensen was waiting for neil..
They are planning to go on a weekend picnic together though?? Everyone forgot about it or what?
so friends can’t have picnics together anymore??
