I have so many questions because Guwon at the end of previous timeline definitely seemed to know something yet now he seems clueless. In contrast, MC had no memories previously. It also seemed like many timeline already happened, so why this time MC can remember but not before?

I like the webtoon but not gonna lie, while reading the novel I imagined their corrupted apparence a lot scarier I’m a bit sad seuryoung still looks so human. I imagined him like this giant centipede with just a human mask/face.
He didn’t have to look like that but I wished him (and the others but guess we will see for them, especially yakrin ) looked more like the monsters we’ve seen until now, especially by contrast with hyunmook.

Even the fight scene with seungryong was more tame than the novel
The novel gave such a bleak and dreary atmosphere to the abyss and all the charas in it that the manhwa seems tame in comparison imo

I think that’s sadly inevitable for time/chapters limit and also when you put things into pictures it will always be a bit less scary than just imagining things in one mind. But it could make up with really cool and creepy designs.
I also think maybe it’s attentional to not go too much in the horror genre to touch more people but it’s too bad if that’s the case because the eery/scary theme was the whole appeal of the novel.
It was described that their human forms were deliberately “maintained” so that hopefully they would retain some of their humanity or not forget it entirely at least.
But yeah I understand the sentiment. In my imagination he was like a massive centipede with like a the upper half of a human on top of its head or like depicted like in the manhwa but with a lower maw that overly extended.
I think with seuryoung I didn’t get that creepy or scary vibe but more of a grotesque vibe? I think with our Hoyoung and Yakrin those two definitely creeped me tf out haha.

And I wonder how Hyunmook will look like considering his current appearance is more like a mask, the novel described him as a pure void(black hole), his real corrupted appearance.
Oh I think for this one they might just keep it as is. There’s plenty of scenes where the characters are stuck in a dark space which is actually Hyunmook and it’s not that difficult to draw (i wonder about the vibe of it tho)
Hyunmook corrupted form fear points come more from what it can do than what it looks like tbh (no one is scared of a house or walls in itself, but if you can’t get out of that house then it’s scary)
