It's not ending. Season 3 had 2 more chapters and the season 4 will come out in some time too (season 4 already confirmed)

i just checked out the scene in the novel where Nathan suggests to do it, and i wish they kept the elevator scene instead!! (i'll write what happened)
basically Alex refuses the having schmexx with an omega thing, the neutralizers all of it— he has a similar convo w Nathan on why he wont do it, and Nathan actually walks out and basically says "fine its your body anyway" // but once Alex gets to the elevator, Nathan catches up to him all pissed asking if a familiar face was okay hehe.
