This was a really interesting story and I love the way Yeonwoo is written. He’s a very calm and rational character and he deserves better than what he got. Also the only reason why this is a love story is because Yeonwoo reciprocated shin’s feelings back. Because right after Shin took Yeonwoo to his house near the end, he whispers in his ear. I don’t care if you don’t like me back. I'm never letting you go. And I feel as though if Yeonwoo didn’t like him back this would’ve just been Red Mansion season 2 and destroyed all the character development for Kim Shin up until that point. Cause why the fuck would you think that’s a good thing to say to someone who just got kidnapped and slimed out? Read the room bitch. I also disappointed because Shin was supposed to be someone who is “different” Then the rest of the other dominant alphas, but maybe I’m just deluding myself. But Because he was an awakened alpha, He is only attracted to Yeonwoo. In reality if he wasn’t an anwakened an alogs and His second secondary characters came out naturally as everyone else did. He would’ve probably been in the whore houses just like the rest of them thinking that recessive Omegas are nothing but tools for their pleasure just like the rest of them.
This is really a matter of chicken or the egg: Does he love Yeonwoo because he was awakened by him or was he awakened because he loves Yeonwoo.
Well, I feel like this crucial part of the story was so disregarded and Shin just kissed it away. And it’s so hypocritical because Yeonwoo Wanted love that didn’t come from their instincts so badly because being A recessive omega affected so much of his life and his relationships with other people. So for the story to just turn around and be like, oh yeah, you’re the omega that awakened him. That’s why he’s obsessed with you, just kinda feels like a slap in the face to Yeonwoos dreams. And what he actually wanted throughout the story was someone to love him just because it was him. That even if he was a beta or an alpha or even a regular human that it would’ve always been him. But the story kind of made it so because he was the one that awakened Kim shins Secondary characteristics that made them “meant to be”.
idk maybe im just too woke.

I feel like people don’t like Eunwoo because I find that he was his only obstacle in them getting together and people tend To Try and turn their anger + frustration to a character or a concept that is an obstacle in the story. Like how in some cases, the obstacle is homophobia in Korea, family member, religion Or even just an antagonist in the story that makes them Finally getting together very prolonged, but in this case, eunwoo was the only fucking reason that they didn’t get together. You couldn’t even be mad at Taesoo because he didn’t try to fight for their relationship in the first place, in fact, he was lowk waiting for the day that Eunwoo would move on and finally leave him behind. I mean, Eunwoo was already out of the closet, His family encouraged him to be with Ho-in, Tae-soo Wasn’t even tryna get him to stay, and Woo-jin Even cleared up misunderstandings between them. Eunwoo himself Was their only fucking obstacle and I’ll say that with my chest that’s why people don’t like him. He was the only problem in their relationship From the beginning and his own mistakes was the reason why they had so many issues. Cause if it was up to Ho-in they would've been tg by chp 20 deadass. but instead, we joined him in the emotional roller coaster that is Eunwoo, Which prolonged their Inevitable relationship Another 50 chapters just for him to get one last fuck outta Taesoo before running back to Ho-in. (MIND YOU AFTER HE HAD PROMISED TO MEET HIM THAT NIGHT)
