The way you can tell how educated the author is on trauma really shows. The characters felt so real, they hurt each other but also helped each other grow. This was genuinely so fucking good. Jiho and Inwoos character development was literally immaculate, especially jiho. He had to learn how to really love someone by understanding them, to be loved is to be seen.
I forgot how emotionally mature and fucking amazing this story is. I need to re-read it again.

Honestly, at first I thought it was just gonna be another edgy shit show, but as the story progressed, it actually showed surprising depth. Same with inseobs character, I hated him at first because I thought he was just another pushover with cock and balls for brains, but he was surprisingly well written as well. Not perfect of course, he was very frustrating and mentally slow so it made it extremely difficult to read, but his backstory explained his character and actions pretty well. On the other hand, the ml was a piece of shit, but wasn’t this edgy, asshole for shock value, I thought his condition was interesting to read about (although enraging). It started out okay, but then it just had these awful rape scenes, completely draining it of any of its redeeming qualities. Shit like that absolutely ruins the message and meaning of a story, ESPECIALLY when it’s framed as a romance. It was so unnecessary and just downright disturbing. Extremely disappointing will not be finishing this.
