uh I got spoiled a long time ago but for some reason still keep up with it even tho I mostly scroll through conversations and just look at the panels, but still I can understand the story it’s just that my stupid head thinks that the less time I read about them and kinda spend with them, less emotional connection I hace with them and if something happens I won’t be that much heartbroken and will quickly forget about it you get the logic?

What happens? Im debating whether to drop this or not, the art is really the only thing going for this manhwa. And its somewhat interesting in a twisted way but i dont need this negativity i fear..

So basically after having to endure Rape, blackmail, and continuous control of his life Wan attempts to escape multiple times, but EVERY attempt is crushed by Junghoo’s endless resources and surveillance. Eventually, Wan learns helplessness and trauma bonding.
And because Junghoo has successfully made himself the only person left in Wan's world, Wan's mind breaks down and accepts the situation. The story concludes without a traditional redemption arc or a healthy escape instead, Wan completely lives inside captivity, mistaking Junghoo's terrifying, life ruining possessiveness for true safety and love.

Long story short Mc tries to escape ML. ML finds out Rapes him, blackmails him, Makes it very clear he has all the power. Manipulates Mc so bad he thinks ML is the only one That can help him, therefore becoming co-dependent to ML. Escape no longer being an option, he developes Stockholm syndrome thinking ML is the only source of safety. then it basically ends with no redemption arc or anything like that…. So yeah here you go!!

So far is the story following everything that the novel is showing?? If so I think I might drop it too. Bc if anything I love me a good redemption arc

Yeah just a bit shows at like the chapter 32-36ish in the raws where Mc is found out for trying to get into a different college and then is coerced to give ML A BJ then it goes further

But the raws only go to chapter 44 and it’s not really showing the majority of how much the novel is so it might get changed to be more toned down?

Hopefully bc I want that asshole ML to SUFFER

have to say, though, that I actually found the novel quite a good read - surprisingly so.

I don't recommend to have that high hopes in manhwa. Last time they change the ending, it's become so meh also axed the series instead. Just drop it instead I'd say if u aren't into things like this
