It has always been toxic and disgusting from the beginning

at this point 90% stories in bl genre mean forced sex/rape. Its so fucking sick like i get it its fictional but it affects the reader so much mentally. This is basically normalising such disgusting behaviour. I've been in this community since 4 years and the shit I've read labelled as boys love messed me up so much mentally.
before knowing about this genre I'd have puked at the sight of the scenes that I read today.
made me totally fucking numb. either ways I'm way too deep in this genre now so can't help it much.

It's not only bl. Stories like this have been existing for years. Rape/SA they're not new. The problem is y'all who don't read a story that fits your preference. If you don't like it, why read it? Stop bashing authors for making Dark romance.

You've misunderstood my words.
I'm not saying that I have a problem with having rape/sa in stories and that stories with genres that have these actions should completely be deleted off the internet.
What I mean is that the rape/sa part being normalised in the bl section specifically, regardless of the story being dark romance or any genre similar to it that includes such actions.
If this was about being a dark romance genre thing then the stories should at least follow all the stuff that happens in that genre or like have something different or new but no its just as if most of the bl stories have this blueprint that the top forces their way with the bottom to win them over and once they manipulate the bottom enough they'll label it as love and done. Its so repetitive that its in a way normalising forced intercourse.
