is it just me or chapter 40 is so cringe, i feel like the author doesn’t know if they want to make a funny moment or a heartwarming scene of the ml trying to earn the approval of mc’s family, and it just keeps bouncing between the two. i hate it so much this used to be so promising. and the mc is just accepting it?!? like hahh there goes my sweet little hero when he awkwardly left her room through the window? what happened to all the plot development #－.－)
