Why do some BL go into so much detail about SA ? It was the same with the "The Duke's Debt." Entire chapters of SA! Yes, drama is necessary. The gray hair guy is obviously evil, but it just feels like they tell us "hey non-con can be sexy !"
I know right! If you’re not writing some dark romance, one shouldn’t write rape scenes the same as one would do porn. You don’t show the genitals, you don’t zoom in on it, you don’t sexualize it. You use the “show don’t tell”, shadows, focus on face expressions (and not ahego one’s)… the way those people do it, they put it on the same porn level as the healthy scenes ones.
And I really wonder if it’s because those people really don’t see the matter, or if they really don’t know how to write and the impact this has on their storytelling
It's sad to say, but at least this scene wasn't romanticized. It was pure and simple SA: emotionless, painful. And the prince ? A selfish piece of shit who wanted to possess and nothing else. I'm not angry, just really disappointed. He doesn't deserve Luce's love. And how could Luce even love him in the first place ???

so chaotic, I don't understand anything but I'm curious >_<
