I agree with this 100%, MC seemed smart and had 5 years of experience taking care of his kid with no problems, but suddenly as soon as ML shows up, the story makes him make stupid choices, it's so irritating. Like he was way too nonchalant after passing out to the point that A STRANGER picked up his kid and took him to their house. I feel like that would be a wake up call for him to get himself tf to a doctor to figure out what's wrong to keep his kid safe. Ugh, I'm so sad because it really feels like the author is now just using his kid as a plot device. Such a waste of a cute premise
