Honestly guys, I think we’re getting ahead of ourselves. The ML in my eyes is still very much worthy, but we also have to remember that this world magic is fueled by emotion and due to his past, his magic is fueled by the hate for his father and rage. Also growing up to never trust anyone or to let anyone in so using these manipulation tactics he’s done this. I don’t know how many times but enough to get accustomed to doing it. Also, I don’t think he’s trying to make the FL hate him he knows what he’s doing yes but in his own little weird way, he thinks he’s protecting her and doesn’t even realize that he’s fallen in love with her. Hence why his magic didn’t work in the latest chapter.
