Yes, perhaps a little gullible & innocent, but honestly so was I in high school. Because when you've been bullied before & finally have a new friend/close friend, you don't want to lose them. It can feel scarier to be alone again
Ugh, I really liked the plot up until all of the miscommunication begun. Miscommunication for multiple chapters is not enjoyable to read. I hope it is resolved, but I stopped reading around chapter 34 for now.

Hi!! So all I remember is that the girl is a witch of some kind/has powers. Her house burned down (or she has some reason to return/check in on dad), she only has her dad.
