I remember reading a yaoi (completed) about a group of 4 friends. Two of them (side couple) started dating, the seme is tall and has glasses while the uke is cute, timid, and short. The other two (main couple) found out about their 2 friends dating each other. Due to curiosity, they make out and eventually got together as well. They are around the same height, short hair, one has lighter hair and the other has black hair.

pretty sure they don't , this story was only recently completed in Japan so if they do get a spin-off it'll probably be sometime before that happens, if at all.
