I was searching for a quick, easy story to read and I found this.
The plot isn't as smooth as I like and the pace is kinda rushed but since it has just 45 chapters I guess it's justified.
I liked the characters, both flawed in their own ways and acting accordingly. What I liked the most was Yijae's determination to get his man back and Junhyuk's desire for his lover's happiness over his own. Like, man, I'm so game for this kind of trope!
I'm also glad it wasn't your tipical love triangle: the prosecutor is there but sure isn't a threat to the couple so... whatever, man. You didn't have a chance against Jun >.>
Dude needs help.
Just because you're upset over trivial stuff it's not like you have to go and bash heads... it's not how it (usually) works. You man up, curse, take a deep breath and carry on.
The depiction of trauma here is waaaaaaaay off and I can't put his odd behavior on his past struggles.
Also I don't really see Jiho's personal growth: he's been a childish, shallow, haughty, boring character all to the end.
But I kinda liked Woojung, even though I wondered what the heck he saw in Jiho. He's been nothing but a caring and assertive partner since they started their romantic relationship, he's been patient and open but true to his job.
He deserved better. Maybe he should've kept having fun with the lady in red. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I don't understand where the author is getting at. Like... the story is just twisted, no redemption whatsoever, it gets worse and worse for MC.
And I'm so tired of mental health illnesses being portrayed as psychopath, delusional, crazy human beings who can't separate right from wrong. It's not like that, not at all.
I'm not sure I'll keep up with the updates.

I think the finale completely missed the spot. Like... that's it? I was hoping for something more, I don't know, heartwarming?
It kinda felt forced.
rushed, right?
