I’m new to this genre and I rly enjoyed this one without the whole author/story thing. It was fine throughout most of it, but towards the end it obviously became much more central to the plot. Can the historical/villainess genre be done without the need for an existence of a “fake world”? If so recs?
Survive as the hero's wife is really good. It's another isekai, but it doesn't have the 'author', just the fmc knowing the original novel plot. Annabeth_Cullen
