Dropping this, had so much potential but she folded and is suddenly blushing around and romancing? Nah, mate. Bye.
I’m rlly confused because in the novel she was definetly not described as blushing and flustered around him, she relented a bit towards him but more or less she was cold right till the end. She even continues to bring up past hurtful things he did right at the end!! (I loved it, like she forgave but never forgot.)
I was hoping to see that but it seems more like we fell into the standard shy FL romance stuff.... -.-'
Maybe the story still turns out okay but I came here for a strong cold FL not romance, so I am stepping out. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I hope we get someday some good story with lots of pain for the guy, cold FL that actually lives well alone with 2nd ML!
Girl I prOMISE you would prefer the novel. Spoiler but in the novel she never tell him ever again that she loves him, and it’s shown in his pov how much it hurts him but he understands why. She reallllllyyyy makes him suffer for the rest of his life in the novel, but they also show that while he will always regret what he did, he would rather be with her regardless. It’s SO satisfying
Listen.... I get that her making money is important part and it is all about showing how great and smart and bla bla is... but we have been so much on this cafe topic that I dont even remember what was the main plot...
we get 1-2 chapters of her interacting with someone else and then 20 chapters of her creating menus...
honestly, one more chap of it and I am dropping this

IT is a good story but I cant stop be off-put by the fact that they knew each other since they were 3 and 11, and they were in some sort of brotherly relationship. Ok, the seme liked him the whole time, but uke saw him as a young child, a kid, a brother and now you are sleeping with him bc he is 20 so what, it is suddenly okay? it is legal so suddenly there are no issues?
The age difference is fine but the backstory is kinda incest-layered. I wish there is a nice age-gap BL that doesnt have the whole part of: Ohh but he knew him when he was just a baby!
