I’m just happy that Misato got Mei’s love even if he doesn’t realize it yet and his revenge was actually successful.
Tbh I want this to be a bittersweet ending such as that they don’t end up together forever, but they were able to clear up all misunderstandings in a heartfelt way and Hae-il and officially dies without regrets.
