I know this story is good, and I am sure it will get better once the miscommunication is over, but it gets to a point where reading the same thing over and over is just boring.

A full conviction of red eyes (so the public knows the truth), a prison sentence, dropping of the soap (so he can know what it feels like), followed by a prompt beating to death. I will accept nothing less. Will accept much worse.

I read that this has a significant miscommunication trope. To be honest, those usually ruin stories for me because the whole plot tends to revolve around keeping secrets or hiding feelings. Is this story like that? Examples of stories that were like that for me are "The Pizza Delivery Guy and the Golden Palace" and "A Strange Joke".

I was waiting for this to finish or progress more before I tried to re-read because I really hated how ML treated MC. Reading the comments, it seems I made the right choice and won't be trying to pick this back up.
