Honestly, I rarely comment but the latest chapter and the comments below have been on my mind for some reason.

To be completely honest, they are both wrong in some ways. In this situation I don’t think there’s a Garam’s right or Jaehyuk’s right situation, they both have openings for growth.

First of all, Garam has yet to fully heal from his trauma regarding his sexuality. It is unwise for a person who has not yet fully accepted their sexuality to enter into a relationship with someone. Especially in this case where Jaehyuk is ready to publicly reveal their relationship and Garam is not. Garam is just not completely ready for a fully homosexual relationship, he’s being selfish by prioritizing his own desires instead of considering Jaehyuk’s feelings. On top this, Garam also lacks communication skills. For example when he was first hesitant about being in a relationship with Jaehyuk because of his past experiences with his first love. Garam failed to communicate this to Jaehyuk which is why Jaehyuk just attributed Garam’s psychological walls has him being “cold and aloof”. It’s not because he’s cold and aloof it’s because he’s still scared so puts walls to protect himself. In the latest chapter we witness Garam’s fear again, and he has yet to fully open up to Jaehyuk about this fear/trauma which will continue to become a hinder in their relationship.

As for Jaehyuk, people in these comments cease to realize the fact that Jaehyuk has lived his entire life as a heterosexual rich playboy. His life experiences in general makes it hard for him to fully understand Garam’s inner turmoil. Jaehyuk has the luxury of being open and free about their relationship and that is because he has never faced any struggles especially in regards to his sexuality or any struggles in general tbh. Like i mentioned before, Jaehyuk has lived a carefree HETEROSEXUAL(remember this)privileged life whereas Garam has lived the experience of a gay man in a world where it’s taught that being gay is unnatural and disgusting. Mind you, when they first met Jaehyuk was disgustingly homophobic towards Garam. That is the sort of thing Garam has faced his entire life which makes it hard for him to fully expose himself in front of society, Jaehyuk has failed to realize this fact. His lack of understanding for not only Garam’s experiences but the experience of being homosexual in this world will as I mentioned before become a hinder in their relationships.

One has lived a privileged life and the other has lived a not so privileged life. But neither is responsible for the other’s flaws, the person himself has to realize and fix those flaws so that they can grow as a person. Until this happens, I believe it’s best for them to have some time apart.

Honestly this was very rushed so please forgive the errors. Okay ty.
