Anyways I actually like this one more than I expected, halfway I was a bit annoyed with the drag to say the things that needed to be said but I guess it was for a good reason the way it was done was more dramatic than I expected but well Im here for the drama anyways.
I liked how the mc was authentic and was consistent during all of it, and didn’t just “Oh he wants to marry I guess imma lose all my personality now and be a wifu” no no no mf stand his ground and kept his secrets till he was about to die and that’s fucking awesome, and he was a funny guy, a silly funny guy and a pathological liar atp lol
Ml is complicated, a gray character that’s for sure, but he has his motives to be greedy and apathetic to others, will not lie I did hope he would have more of a chasing for his lover phase, like damn bitch I know ur cold but be a little more pathetic and show your husband how much you love him before y’all die
The brother of the ml is kinda cool, I wish he did more tho, it felt like he was made to stir shit up but he couldn’t even do that, he had a crush on mc(still not sure how to feel abt that) but they never did anything abt that besides having ml be jelly, was supposed to be the kind of character that wants to take everything and kill his brother and never did, I get it that he pitied ml but like if you’re not gonna do what you should do then go do smt else but after all I kinda liked him just wished he he’d more depth as a character
The mc brother/ demon/ thing motherfucker when he was introduced it was like damn what a cool world build I wonder how he’s gonna be, a few chapters later I managed to predict the brother plot twist and everything else just felt unsurprising and dragged out, don’t get me wrong when he made his first actual appearance I was still like omg I wonder what’s gonna happen but by the (what felt like) 20st chapter of him explaining his plans and how he’s gonna kill everyone I was like “ Can someone please just kill him already?” Like yeah dude I got it you are the best and the strongest whatever the fuck you are and you need another body to keep living, just get someone already or just invade mc body idk do something you old as hell but still can’t do anything properly

Not the worst thing I’ve read but it’s definitely not the best either, it lacked depth, felt like one of those AI stories where everything is happening very quickly to keep people watching but nothing is really explained and all the time you are just being hit with new information that is actually just another trope like the dunk one night stand, the “did he go already?”, the now he is acting cold but actually he is serious he was just waiting for mc to decide himself and the (not even surprising anymore) they actually met before and ml never forgot.
I just think they could have made it better if they had more chapters and focused on their PRESENT story rather then just pulling one cliche after another, like what happened with the project?
