Guys, just out of curiosity, when you read, do you read using your internal voice or do you kind of turn it off while reading? Because I always read with my internal voice, but I feel like that’s why I can only read slowly.
It's turned on but kinda like I'm imagining the character's voices in my head to make it more dramatic or interesting. Also, I just woke up from a nap, sorry for disappearing, but it lwk didn't help anything

I can't just turn it off it's so annoying I'm ngl
Turned off when reading action stories but turned on when reading GLs, no idea why though. I guess that way makes it easier to focus?
And when I read novels or fanfics I also turn the inside voice off.
How do you turn it off I want to learn that
It's kinda hard to explain, I guess I hyper-focus all my attention on what's written out so there's no need to "verbalise" it inside my head.
