there are so many yaoi tho... I love yaoi too and you're allowed to state your opinion ofc but its kind of annoying to read a shoujo and have someone comment "this should have been yaoi" like there isn't a huge amount of yaoi ... yaoi has even more stories so instead of complaining about it not being yaoi just go read yaoi only then
Hmm okay but there are many shoujo manga too. I just wanted to state that many people like me though that this was yaoi mainly due to cover and seeing in first few pages the character she reincarnated into as a guy. You didn't really have to respond to my comment like this but this is also your right. If you like the topic feel free to continue reading it but i have seen comments like mine here also. Its not like I don't like or read shoujo, I just stated that I was disappointed as I assumed and started reading this as yaoi.
There’s more Yaoi then shoujo stuff. Anyways It’s honestly weird how ppl like you always complain about how some straight shit isn’t gay, I mean that’s weird. Do you see ppl commenting on gay shit, oh I wish this was straight (ok there probably is some ppl, but it’s rare) it’s just I see so often comments like I wish this was gay or if this story is so good but it would be even better if it’s gay, kinda annoying.
Honestly for me it’s mainly the gender bender that has me thinking that way. When I was younger I was into the gender bender genre where a girl pretends to be guy, it was an interesting and exciting type of plot. But when I grew up I realized it’s a bit odd, as it feels like it’s queer baiting. Like why exactly does the FL have to pretend to be a dude. It’s an odd type of thought to have ever been created for the sake of fun shoujo plots.
