They aren't deleted you'll get them back.
don't worry, ppl whose acc were made in 2014 and 2015, as in earlier years, slowly got their reads back.
Currently 2019 users are getting it back and it has started for 2020 users too.

so yeahh it'll take quite some time but you'll get them back.

check the comments on those stories, the link always gets brought up for the novel

when u mark them as want to read, reading or read, there is a checkbox 'subscribe to this manga' or sm like that that is already checked automatically

Put the story on your 'reading list' or on your 'already read list'.

Check the mark for 'subscribe this manga' and you will get notified for new updates.

you will not get notified immedietly tho, since mnggo only sends notification for manga update 2 times a day

Also, putting story on your 'want to read list' won't let you get a notification since there's no subscribe option
