I’m gonna be delusional and think that the brother isn’t all that evil and that he did plan this initially but he’s already regretting it. He’s already trying to convince himself that nothing is his fault and trying to rationalize it. So he may end up saving her when ML thinks she’s in he wrong hands (that one foreshadowing in the previous chaps)
