To be fair, we had some hints form the author all along. Mainly through Taeseo's secretary reactions. And also through Taeseo's monologues (referring to Yeomin as a pet for instance). He seemed clueless and dumb but he was mainly selfish and controlling. Now he turned obsessed and dangerous
