The ending was a happy ending. Everyone grew, they understood themselfs, their desires, their love. Just because they didnt end up with the one they wanted, does not make it an unhappy ending. the story was tragic, and full of moral and ethical dillemas that come with flawed and emotionally immature people. Howver, the decisions that they made brought them o the natural end of their charcahter arcs which resulted in the happy result of them identifying who they were meant to be and how they would want to live.
