I was reading this and I truly thought I found peak yandere hetslop up until I got some major spoilers. They take our beautiful strong FL and make her get pregnant on some retarded breeding kink shit. Then he turns abusive then there's the dumbass "separation arc" we always see in yandere novels and then they get together in the end but I'm genuinely so pissed off I could rip my skin off, turn it inside out, and put it back on fear and hunger style if it meant I could get back the time I wasted reading this bull and shit.

yes yanderes are abusive but what's upsetting is the fact that no matter what we read if there's a strong female lead they ALWAYS nerf her with pregnancy, take away her independence, and leave her at the mercy of the man whether it's yandere or not. im aware yandere's are toxic thats the POINT but it completely ruins the plot and female leads character when they take AWAY her personality and reduce her to a broodmother spawn

i just hate the fact that the pregnancy is used as a plot device. he only seriously grovelled when he found out she was pregnant because he didnt like that the FL was 100% ready to move on with her life with her child without him.
prior to finding out she was pregnant, he did some small reflection on the things he did to her and when he met her again, he felt the urge to apologize BUT did not want to say it because of his pride. he had so many opportunities to apologize properly before finding out she was pregnant but he did not do it.
he only did it seriously after the pregnancy reveal. which sucks bc it feels like he only wanted her back bc of the child (and bc he couldnt sleep when the FL is not beside him)
