The art style is gorgeous but I’m so confused about the ending and the timeline of this all, I really hope that the author can explain it in future updates (if they ever come to this site) ╥﹏╥
The modern story you were seeing is mainly one of the another life, xing yue being reincarnated or reborn every life (total of 6 after their first life if i remember correctly) and getting killed by yulang as part of his revenge and in the end of chap 9 their first life story starts which will be in two segments, the fist one being 10 and will continue in another chap after that it will end. This is a "what if" story of author for her oc characters and her real main work will start after she decides the storyline and everything.
