can anyone please explain or just give me a summary of what is happening because I'm so confused, idk why but I'm so damn confused everything about this story, I just want to know what the hell is going on and have a bit of anyone's opinion about this
We’re lead to believe since the beginning that Yuwon (lighter haired guy) had been the one to save Dohun (black hair) from severe bullying during high school. They had met each other in the past as kids and later on as teenagers and finally as adults. Each time a lot of mayors plot points happen that create the unhealthy dynamic they have as adults. Later on as a sudden plotwist we find out that the abuse he’d suffered from both the school bullies and orphanage/foster leader severed his mental capacity and created false memories of Dohun, being the transfer student in highschool, to be the one being abused rather than him. During that time, We find out in recent chapters that Dohun as well was being abused by his brother and mentally by his father as he was an illegitimate son born from his mother he abandoned him at a young age. He realized as he grew up that happiness meant doing whatever he could to keep the other “safe” as well as how violence meant affection. At least attention was on him sort of way. I believe that, that’s one of the reason why he alienated Yuwon in his workplace. Creating a dynamic where Yuwon falls into a bigger mental crash as he blames Dohun for his misfortunes. Partially why he does this is to take away the blame from himself because he feels immense guilt in instances where Dohun was hurt in response to saving Yuwon from certain negative situations. This makes more sense after finding out how bad the bullying had been during highschool. His constant migraines and hallucinations can be blamed on that as well. Yuwon also knows that becoming more than just a bystander to abuse means you can become the next target so his intentions from the beginning were to push Dohun away. He also has immense pride so he felt Dohun was bringing unnecessary attention to both of them, more in the office setting of course but in reality I find that Dohun has good intentions but the trauma he lived has created the toxicity that he lays onto Yuwon. If you decide to reread the manhwa, remember that Yuwon is an unreliable character when it comes to his memories and narrative. I just reread it today and knowing that, made it make more sense in some scenes. Also there’s a theory going around about his workplace friend, Seongmin. Since Yuwon has difficulty with memories and not doing well mentally aside from everything else. Others find that Seongmin must have realized that and preyed on that weakness. It’s been hinted at in some scenes that Yuwon was most likely sexually assaulted by him too after it was mentioned how he doesn’t react or wake up when he’s passed out drunk in both the past and in recent chapters. Which makes more sense on why Dohun was so upset with Seongmin being so friendly with Yuwon.

Honestly really like this manhwa with how it handles psychological trauma and how unhealthy relationships can stem off it. If anything I said doesn’t make sense lmk
