like as much as jaekyung was an ass for the majority of the story i've gotta say that eng translation has been making him sound harsh to dan and lack some connotations compared to the korean raws ;-;
ik ppl are pissed especially abt chap 96 but iirc in the raws he actually said smth about dan leaving him "too" which dan picked up and probably why in chap 97 seems to be forgiving and understood as his defence mechanism
just some stuff i've been seeing online abt the comparisons and seeing the raw snippets for myself
not sure if they will see this but! about the "dark" description for ML the brother probably meant gloomy

I'm sure the highschool guy is not ML's brother (swimmer guy) because they have a 3 year gap, and second of all, the flashback showed that the highschool dude has a wayyy younger sister!!
Also ML's brother as a swimmer probably had to train like crazy at that age so i doubt he'd be in school?
