Because most of us are intelligent adults who understand literacy and read the full story. You can have your own opinions, but none of this is 'concerning'. It's a story with a character that's not meant to be a good person. It's the point. If perfectly harmless characters is more your style, I suggest Sign, Heartstopper, or some other vanilla eeasy-to-enjoy stuff that's more your preference. But just because you do not like it, doesn't mean it's wrong or should not exist. I'm sure many people feel the same about horror as a genre and violence in videogames, but it'd be stupid to think everyone who likes those things are evil people. Especially when these stories are also very well liked by victims of SA due to trauma/coping reasons. Such as me and many others that I've met that have been abused in similar ways.

People are quick to assume and shame you for criticising the stories which clearly are built upon the 'rape fantacy' and 'gay fetishisation', this is not the representation of r*pe or sa but rather fetishisation of it without obviously portraying in a romanticized way. I'm not invalidating the comfort you might've found in this story as an sa survivor but please please please let's not call this a well done representation of sa victims cause this is not.
Idk how can people not tell that whole thing is built upon fantacy rather than representation and this is coming from a former sa survivor. And again I'm not invalidating your comfort which you derive from this story but let's stop acting like this is a well written story when it's absolutely not. I disagree. You're basing your opinion based on feelings. It's fine if you just say "I do not like it because it makes me upset/uncomfortable/its not for me." And leave it at that. The story is well writen, it's also okay not to like it because it doesn't meet your preference. But to find a 'deeper wrong' to it is just not necessary. Besides the fact that there is nothing wrong with rape fantasy fiction, and we do not know if the author themselves made this story to cope with their own personal issues. demonizing these types of stories is not the way to go. I do not know if you read the complete full story, but from my point of view, I believe the author handled everything decently considering the era and the trauma the ML went through. Obviously this would not fly in real life and would not excuse a thing in reality. I'm saying it was very well explained as to why things lead the way they did. If you disagree with me that's fine too, but I urge you to stop calling this type of fiction every type of buzzword when it stigmatizes it unfairly.

It's always this type of fiction but never other fiction with murder, cannibalism, monster romance, etc.

Also I SERIOUSLY suggest you drop the 'its not a good representation of sa victims' COMPLETELY oh my god. You got no idea how much damage that whole mentality has done to literally all of us, because it makes up expectations of what a 'real perfect victim' would/should act like. Even 'bad representation' is GOOD representation. For all you know there's victims who act exactly like the MC, please genuenly do not fall for the 'good representation' thing no matter how progressive you think it is. It's not. It only causes damage. They did this with Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel (A show I don't even watch nor care about) and it hurt hundreds of victims who related to the character, causing a 'throwing some under the bus to please others' issue.

And another thing which I've noticed is that people has normalized rape or sa in yaoi way to much but if the roles were reversed and a girl were getting raped sa or whatever by a man then shit would've been different.

No, I will say the same thing about fiction that touches on straight ones too, or GL. This has nothing to do with gender or sexuality. I'm fine to agree to disagree if you don't want to listen to my points, whatever. But at the very least I really do hope you don't do the 'bad representation' shit ever again, I'm dead serious. Disagree with everything else, but don't throw victims under the bus just because they don't act, speak, or react the same way 'perfect victims' do. That's all.

Everyone reacts and handles their trauma differently and that’s something keyboard warriors cannot (or do not) comprehend.
Also, the definition of what they consider assault is very narrow. I see people clamor for mpreg whether it’s omegaverse or not, yet they it fail to realize that any coerced/forced upon pregnancy is a form of assault, so even if the sex was consensual, pregnancy is a whole other issue.
A recent example of double standards, is Nice to see you, People are all offended over the latest chapter because the ML engaged in somnophilia (having sex with a sleeping person), but failed to call out the MC who consciously and purposely masturbated in front of the ML when ML explicitly asked him to cut that shit out. Since MC didn’t physically touch ML, I guess people don’t think of it as assault, but exhibitionism can land people in the sex offenders registry for a reason (in the US anyway).
