This is a good example why omegaverse stuff was unnecessary here. There was an interesting plot, good characters, why add omega-alpha stuff? Let them just fall in love, draw them close naturally, use your imagination and create twists i in the plot. But no, of course writer-nim decided to take an easy road - put them in bed because of heat-rut excuse. Pity.
omegaverse is being added to a lot of stories now because many readers like babies being written into the story. Muffint
i think it’s also a good way to explain away homophobia or any realistic issues that might arise from two men living together so immediately. if this wasn’t omegaverse, the author would probably be forced to put in a lot of extenuating details to explain why a mafia boss suffers no repercussions from being gay. omegaverse allows for a far more light-hearted plot which is clearly what the author’s going for (remember how quickly the uke got over the puppy’s death?)
