Even though the mother was the instigator for Iora’s abuse I feel incredibly horrible for her as she lost everything to sexual abuse and lost the wonderful future she would have had with the man who loved her. I wish she could have told her ex husband everything as I am sure he would have understood and she was given the opportunity to apologize to Iora.

I’ve read the raws before and it’s more irritating in English. Like I know Maya is just a plot device to obstruct the main couple but god the lack of consideration and two facedness. She only hangs around Izuki when she wants something and has never actually been her friend.
So is it less irritating in the raws? Like does she talk to Izuki better?
From what I recall she does help out Izuki like in the veryyyyyyyyyyyyy end, but that doesn’t compensate for all the times she was a huge bitch lmao. It was just easier to look at her in the raws cause I couldn’t understand what she was saying exactly and it was more like me gaining understanding from her actions.
