・Yes, but be careful please and make a back-up off-site. I have seen users have issues
・You may have issues, you may not. But I wouldn’t say everyone is 100% safe
・A common issue is stuff disappearing after you added it, so follow the advice below.
・If you’re recovering your lists, I have suggestions in [OTHER QUESTIONS]
・Devs may still be recovering stuff. If you re-add something it overwrites the original date.

When editing/ adding stuff please:
ㅤ‣ After adding an entry, go to that list to check it is there.
ㅤ‣ If not, refresh after ~10 seconds. If still not there, add it again.
ㅤ‣ Update your off-site backup whenever you change something.

・After list data was lost, it was confirmed we're not getting EVERYTHING back ANYMORE.
・They managed to recover up to early 2022 before the disk crash last I heard.

Q: Why is everything in ‘Already read’ + Why is deleted stuff back?
・Everything was seemingly being added to 'already read' before list data was lost.
・SPECULATIVE: Unrated but tagged: goes to “Want to read.” If both: goes to “Already Read”
・They are likely recovering stuff to your lists if it has ever been marked as being in there.
・A user had works recovered to their lists that have been deleted off the site.

Q: I commented OR added something to my list/ custom list/ album why is it not showing up?
・The database + what you're seeing aren't synced due to the site recovery. (Suujin's FAQ)
・You might need to wait ~20 seconds then refresh to see if it's updated.
・If it's not there, try again + refresh again. Sometimes it just won't go through at all.
・Sometimes, the entry just won’t go through. (CAN HAPPEN TO LISTS)

Q: Why am I constantly getting logged out?
・This seems to be a mobile-only issue. Maybe read on PC for no interruptions.
・Something about the login session not being tracked properly. (see Suujin's FAQ)

Q: Are they still recovering my lists? (Maybe)
・As long as the works were rated or tagged. With no announcement, it's safe to assume it's ongoing.
・Even if list recovery is over, the site recovery is still ongoing
・Why I think so: a few users have books added years ago in between recent entries. Likely recovered.
・A user had a 2011 entry in between Mar 6/26 entries. They think it might’ve been recovered.
・If you *know* you tagged/rated stuff and it’s not back yet, you may just need to wait.
・If they aren’t back AFTER they announce everything’s ok, maybe send them an email.

Q: What about my notifications?
・Stuff is not in your lists (notifications only come from 'reading' and 'already read')
・The notification system is just not working properly. (Seems so after Mar 9 issues)
・You aren't subscribed to the title.

・You might not get notifications sometimes, so I suggest:
ㅤ‣ Checking your history and looking for the "have new update after your last reading"
ㅤ‣ Remembering the update schedule of your favourite works/ check them weekly.

Q: What can I do to recover my lost titles (MANUAL)
・Go through your comments/ on-site history/ lists, etc.
・Check your browser history. Most browsers only save up to ~3 months of history.
・Go through lists with tags you're interested in (www.mangago.me/listtag/)
・Ask for some stuff in the questions section! Some people have lists they'd like to share or remember titles you've forgotten.

Q: What about the comments section + my personalised comments?
・There is no information on when/if this is coming back. They might not.

Q: Can I email someone? (TLDR: DO NOT!!!!) + Uploading new manga
・I suggest not. The developers are very busy and haven't been responding since mid Feb.
・It's expected as they're a small team and this is a big site.

Please don’t get mad at me for changing my opinion on editing lists. I’ve been thinking of changing my advice since the end of February, especially as some people have been okay. But as others faced issues, I was torn. I was also scared to change it because I would possibly face backlash, and it went against someone’s advice. I’m sorry. You’re allowed to be upset with me, just don’t attack me please.
This situation has overwhelmed me. I might take a few days off from the site, so if you need to contact me, please DM me.

Someone emailed the devs and apparently got a response saying it was okay to edit lists. This was a while ago. I don’t know how I missed that information. I'm sorry. I still advise you to be careful though, due to the issues I’ve seen.

MARCH 22: Yea, I've been really happy lately now that I'm not dealing with this, so I'm going to completely stop keeping track of the situation. Ts genuinely ruined my mental, even though it wasn't that serious (〜￣△￣)〜

I finally sent the devs an email because I don’t have a single manga/manhwa restored in my lists even after both passes, and I wanted to clarify my situation.

Part of their response to my inquiry was: “We can only get the manga back if you rated or added tags when added manga to your list."

I’ve since sent a reply asking whether this basically means that for people who didn’t rate the manga/manhwa they added to their list (such as myself), they’re gone forever and can’t be restored. I’m still waiting for a reply, but I understand they’re probably dealing with a lot at the moment.

I just wanted to bring this up here in case there’s information about this that I’m not aware of. A few days ago I was told that non-rated manga are being done later. However, based on the devs reply, is there really no more hope for those of us that never rated any of the mangas/manhwas they read?

Just for everyone's information this was the complete reply that I received from the devs (along with the part I shared earlier):

"I'm sorry, one of our data disk was crashed, we lost part of the data of users several days ago, but we still can restore part of the data from rating and tags. we can only get the manga back if you rated or added tags when added manga to your list"

I gave up on getting my list back and decided to go to L****n. That’s what I should’ve done from the start. I know it’s not free, but at least my manga there won’t be lost.

Holy shittt, I just found this masterpiece. Oh lord, I’ll never regret reading the novel. It was so so so good and satisfying. One of the best I read so far!!! And MC IS A FUCKING BADASS HELL OF A QUEEN!!! This story is fuckin hell of a roller coaster ride, all the genre tags here are too good for my taste. It was like a Romeo-Juliet story with extreme and dark plot. This Villainess story really upholds its content to the end, every main character is a sadist. And not some villainess cliché plot who only isekaid in rich fam with pretty face, sheltered princess, and damsel in distress. Even the side character is wicked and fucked in the head. Agriche’s family’s normality is insanity and brutality lol. How every character is vicious in their own and how they plot their nerve-wracking revenge is very satisfying to read.

Shanna(Rosanna), the MC, is the proof that devils are not ugly but actually have the faces of an angel. Dude, she can turn the tables to her advantage. BAD ASS QUEEN OF UNO REVERSE CARD LMAO!!! And after reading the original plot of “Flower of Hell” (the og novel that mc read), the og Shanna and the Shanna that was now reincarnated were both the same, both are hell-bent fucked up of a character. Whether it's in the past, present, or future, Shanna’s goal remains the same. She really wants her goddamn fucked up of a family, the Agriche (under her piece of shit of a father) to perish and reset from the beginning coz rotten from within.

And ghaaaaad, my badass queen’s love confession made me scream like fuckin crazy!!! That was the most unfathomable kind of confession that would question your definition of love. Hahaha goodness, she’s the queen of Yandere ffs. How can she make me go back and forth between hell and heaven so easily in just one sentence? Lmao, it made me feel overwhelmed and uncanny. All hail to my goddess, Rosanna, I fucking love everything about you, you psychotic manipulative savage queen! ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

I just realized that the Cassis (ML) from the og novel and Cassis we have now in the present, suffered from Stockholm syndrome. It was his fate, he eventually falls in love with Shanna even if all his nerves doesn’t like it. And Shanna, too, fell in love with him the very first time they met, even if he was just a soulless hollowed toy. And no one knew what these two had, their affair and shared little secrets, coz it wasn’t detailed in the plot of og novel that the mc read. So they only knew the surface, that Shanna was the one who torment Cassis to die in the og plot. But us, as an outsider and a reader, will know what really happened to them eventually if u read the 5th extra side story. They were already fated to be together until the day they die. Whether from the past or the future, they are destined for each other. And good god, their R-19 (H) scenes were too fuckin sultry, hot, and detailed!!! Ugh, our boy toy, Cassis, is a fuckin god beast in bed!!! I swear, he would made our queen comatose for a week if it weren’t for his magic. I’m hoping to see it in manwha!!! ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Dean’s personality is twisted because of the environment he grew in. His psyche is literally fucked up. But his interest and curiosity for the "unknown emotions" made him bound to Shanna. And it was developed into the hellbent kind of ‘love’ he had for her, it was too excessive to the point that it turned out to be an extreme obsession. He’s a kind of masochist for being greedy to the reactions from his sister that he willingly and intentionally gave his collared leash to her. Like a goddamn slave, he made her his master, his owner. Whether he was hurt or how painful it was, as long as it’s from and by Shanna, his physical being would gladly take all of it even if his mind is reluctant. He’s def a fuckin lunatic and insane but he was contented of getting attention from her like a perv, lol. His intense insatiable thirst to earn her reactions, her emotions, and everything from her sister made him stayed by her side like a mad tamed dog wagging its tail for his owner.


And Jeremy, for goodness sake, my best boy for this series! He’s the only one who made me cry while reading this. He was hungry for love and he found it from Rosanna, the only individual who cared for him. That’s why he developed a sister complex (tho all of the family have complexity problems, all of them are fucked in the head lol). Also, this guy is too possessive for his sister but bc of that possesion it caused him to develop major character growth. My baby boy grown like a adult. Unlike Dean, he force himself to man-up and be matured enough to take full responsibility to his fucked up family. He even managed to control all his wild craze and lunatic half siblings to prevent causing troubles, all for his sister to live comfortably. I fucking love him, how he adores, serves and worships Rossana like his goddess, so much.

Ahckkkk for ppl who love Villain and Villainess plot, I swear, this story is the right answer! This story has soooo much potential! And it was a pity that the manhwa is on hiatus as of the moment. I’m sending prayers to the artist who had a struggle & miscarriage while doing this project. I prayed that she could overcome this hard time and come back to continue this manhwa. Still it’s selfish to say bc it could cause her some ptsd. I hope she prevail the justice she deserves. As much as the art of manhwa is so great I would really understand if she choose not to continue this and give it to someone else. Whatever makes her feel better, I’ll support the artist’s decision. Hope we can hear some good news soon.

Anw, since the manhwa is still unfinished and I really really love this story, i looked for the novel book to continue reading. However, I found out that there were no proper translations of the novel in English. I check the novel updates, they only have til c52, then dropped by the translators (as of now, no one’s still picking up). I found an MTL-ed version of the novel but the grammar makes me sick and retarded. So when I searched, I found this Chinese-translated version in chinese website. Tho it’s not perfectly aligned but the grammar is tolerable, readable, and understandable. The only thing to have watch out for is the changes of pronouns, some minor spellings and words. But it was way much better than the MTL-ed version which fuckin sucks.

I’m tired of commenting on everyone else posts, so I’ll make my own. I’ll go through ever point I’ve seen, and explain why it’s incorrect. Match your point to mine to see an explanation.

“They’ve played multiple times before and did worse”
Yes, but consent does not carry. Especially in bdsm. Just because someone agreed once before, does not give their partner the right to their body indefinitely. In real bdsm, each play is discussed beforehand and is approved on by both parties. Clearly this didn’t happen, because chanwoo was shocked at md’s instructions.

“It’s bdsm they can be hit”
No. Bdsm is consensual, and chanwoo did not and can not consent.

“Why can’t he consent?”
He is shown several times to be mentally and emotionally incapable. Md choked him to see if he was capable of saying the safeword. It was confirmed that he couldn’t when he did not say it. Chanwoo is shown with a bruised face and repeatedly brushes off concern with “I’m fine”.

“He knows how md feels but he goes to the other guy anyways”
A person is never, ever obligated to return someone’s unrequited feelings. After md confessed, chanwoo politely refused And wished to keep a casual bdsm relationship. Because they stated beforehand that they want their bdsm and romantic lives separate, md’s feelings do not belong in their plays.

“How is he being manipulated? This is unrelated to their plays”
Yes, personal feelings should be left out of bdsm. MD knows that, but he puts them there anyways. Md also knows that chanwoo values him as a bdsm partner and as a friend, so when chanwoo attempted to introduce md to his boyfriend and he clearly was upset, no plays should’ve been initiated until md could cool down his feelings. Chanwoo was given an ultimatum, in that he either participate in the play or never communicate with md again. He fears losing md, so he agrees despite clearly not wanting to. This is coercion, and a coerced person cannot consent.

“Md is upset because chanwoo hurt his feelings so that’s why he hit him like that”
Again, unrequited feelings are never obligated to be returned, and personal feelings have no place in a casual bdsm relationship. Yes this hurt his feelings, but hurt feelings are never an excuse to coerce or hurt another person.

“He deserves it”
No one deserves abuse. Ever.

“How is it abuse”
It is abuse because he cannot consent. No consent = abuse/rape.

“I’ve been in a bdsm relationship that had plays exactly like this and I’m fine”
I’m sorry you’ve been abused before, but you should not use it as leverage to excuse other abuse.
