They lowkey went a little far calling you illiterate just bc you're not familiar with this genre but to answer your question it's a lot different from SL! I would say rather than strictly self-improvement or "becoming the strongest," the strength the MC builds is for saving the people he loves and trying to make up for lost time. Since there's such a focus on found family and deep bonds, the whole cast of characters is really charming! PLEASE keep reading!

The system and gate concept has existed way before solo levelling, sl just popularized it. This story is very different from sl and it's one of my favorite novels
