so basically I remember reading this on bato, its a bl manga maybe doujinshi I dont remember. its about 2 high school boys and also kendo related like (A and B) so A goes to B's place cuz his parents were out of station or smth , so they both eventually start hooking up , masturbating together and eventually start having sex I dont remember what happens afterwards , my bad I know this explanation is very vague but the sex was so hot I want to read it again

When I do public speaking before.. I have a coin in my pocket or something small to clutch in my pocket to ease my tension..

Well I too have the same kind of fear so what I do is just don’t look at the audience eyes or expressions. Do more hand movements, gestures make audience more engaged. Also fuck those audience just be I don’t give a fuck what you think hahah

    Hope this helps.

Clench and unclench your toes over and over, i suck at public speaking too and that usually helps me some. Honestly cant say much about the freezing cause I word vomit but maybe try doing some mental exercises? Like mediation and if possible listen to something which calms you down before hand? Like asmr or something. You can try to like 'plan' ahead your lines and how it'll go. Write it out so you dont get stuck in your head about it though. Sounds silly but when you write it down you can really identify where your overthinking and the possibility of that actually happening.

Hi! I used to compete academically in public speaking (oratory, extemporaneous, and impromptu) and debate. I sometimes get anxious too especially before going up on stage/podium but that is completely normal. The two things that will always work to calm yourself down is:

    1) Learn your material. If it's impromptu and there's not much time to prepare, organize your thoughts into three simple points: a) introduction (what is this topic about?), b) conflict (what are the conflicts/arguments in this topic, and if there are multiple sides, explore them), c) resolution (what can be done to solve these conflicts?). You don't have to overthink it, you can even go up there with just one sentence each for these points in your head and words will come to you naturally. Just remember one keyword for each at the very least and it will all work out. If you feel like you're at a loss for words, remember these three points and it will get you back on track.

Always, always be confident that whatever you're saying is correct. Even if you're unsure (or sometimes even downright just saying anything you can think of with no clear basis), none of the people in the audience will bother to correct you or fact-check. Some may raise eyebrows, but you can always correct it yourself in a calm way or ignore completely. Don't worry about the audience's faces, eyes, or expressions, they're not important.

    2. Tell yourself you are better than everyone else in the room. You're the one going up on stage to speak, and these people are just sitting there to listen. Whatever opinions they may have, you are the one speaking on stage so whatever you say is what is! You are correct, their opinions are invalid, and you will say your piece because you can. Whatever corrections they have can wait until after you're done.

The essence of public speaking is confidence.

If the anxiety is stemming from seeing the audience's faces/reactions, pass your eyes through them quickly when you're speaking but never look at anyone's faces for long. It will give them the illusion that you are talking to the whole room and commanding attention without giving anyone any particular focus. Hope you ace your activity! I'm rooting for you. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
