I'd never considered doing this before, but there's a manga I read years--seriously, 6 or 7 years ago--that I loved but have never been able to remember the name of or find again. It's slightly older--'90s style and I think concluded either in the late 90s or early 2000s. It followed the relationship of two male friends from the time they're small children. They end up falling in love and are each other's firsts as far as sex goes. One of them is really into soccer (though I think he maybe gets injured at some point? Or it might've been that he was hit by a car. I DON'T KNOW, but there was some sort of injury like that.). I also believe they lose contact after school and one of the guys starts crossdressing. The story ends on kind of a somber note of an old man (one of the guys from the couple) finishing recounting that relationship and his life before dying?? I think?? Those are the only real details I remember unfortunately. I'm not sure if anyone would have read this because I don't know how popular it was and know that it's older/has been finished for a long time. If you have any ideas, please don't hesitate to toss them out there!
