Girl i dont care if season 2 shows that ml acts like this because of some family issues then somehow everything he’s done is justified and “oh em gee hes just traumatized!!!11!1” idgaf hes still a rapist pos asshole and mc needs to grow a backbone against this guy. Why is this so common in bl manhwas, ml gets to be a total scum of society then later we find out he was a mama’s boy but his mom died and his dad hits him so that’s why hes a total edgelord (this is just an example, it doesn’t have to be exactly like this but you get the gist). Which is fine that’s fair, abuse is abuse and trauma is trauma. But tell me why just because ml has a sad backstory he has a get out of jail free card and suddenly everything he did before was perfectly acceptable and without consequence then gets a happy ending with mc. Like what.

The thing is, you would think that for a manhwa this toxic there would be some dark and deeper meaning with complex storytelling but no. It’s literally just rape on top of rape on top of rape on top of even more rape and an extra large side of toxicity. I dont expect everything to be rainbows and sunshine and im down for a good dark manhwa (keyword: good) but this is a complete nothingburger.
