I don’t read straight stories like this, but i’m absolutely eating this UP. The slowburn, the push and pull, the comedy aspect to it, the strong female lead x strong male lead. The way they’re both a bit crazy in their own way. And the way he really does love her. Help….I’m scared for when he gets his memory back. This is written so well and the art style is beautiful…the smut and dirty talk is delicious too…
this is one of the creators weakest story. It’s not really compelling to me like the others and kinda seems scattered and with less heart in it. I dunno….
not all stories by an author will resonate with every reader, so I'm not saying you can't feel that way... but it's pretty early to say that this is the creator's weakest story considering that we're not very far into it yet and the creator's approach to the mystery has been to build suspense and intrigue about just what exactly happened with the cult and to seong su, so we don't have a complete picture of the situation just yet.
I'm curious to know why you find this story scattered and lacking heart compared to the creator's other works (or in general) because I think this one is more ambitious in terms of ideas and plot. hyeondo and seong su's struggles with self-discovery and acceptance concerning their sexuality (and possibly gender for seong su), and how their experiences with religion and social expectations affected those struggles are bound up with everything about the cult as an organization exercising control over its members in all these intimate aspects of their lives and the cult as a vehicle for abuse. everything hasn't come together yet since we're still in the middle of things, but I can see the relevant pieces and possible connections, like seong su's relationship with his father being colored by his father's treatment of his mother and not being seen as properly boyish or manly as a kid, while hyeondo was struggling with belonging within his family and within his community as a mixed child. many ingredients at play in this story, but we have yet to see what the creator is cooking in the end.

HOLY FUCK THIS WAS THE BEST CHAPTER. I already knew his mind was there, but seeing them kiss without it being to hurt him, him initiating like that and continuing it and HER being surprised, the way he thinks. GRAH. It reminds me of cirrus, wanting to be skylar’s best and worst thing to happen to him, just so that he’ll always be on his mind.

A lot of y’all need to read this story from the beginning at this point cause WHAT his character isn’t mischaracterised at all the only people doing it is the readers like this isn’t as shocking as people are making it
I understand, his character was “two-faced” and used that persona to hurt and push people away and only gave his soft side to those he trusted, which was basically just him. But i’m talking about the fact he fucked him so painfully he’s bleeding?
And I also know he’s taking out his frustration and anger out on him because he’s been repressed and abused, but we’ve also learned he’s less mad about the character being based on him, and actually pushed him away mostly because of his family, which again makes me not like the feel it’s not fitting for his character because now they BOTH knew before the sex his family was making him
