so i just found out this is a love triangle lol… didn’t even realize it when i marked it to read. not really a fan of love triangles either since they annoy me way too easily. anyway, i seriously cannot stand a dumb mc who still ends up choosing a toxic male lead. first lead or second lead, i don’t care. if he’s toxic and shows zero improvement, he should not be the one getting picked, period. please don’t let this turn into one of those stories that sell “growth” and “moving on from a toxic past” only to completely ruin it at the end by choosing the same abusive, toxic guy with no character development whatsoever. like what was the point then lol. please, i’m begging, don’t disappoint me.
why is it that all the actual banger, peak bl manhwas are always so short? i need more, like hello? and why do authors love skipping omega pregnancy like it’s not literally the most iconic part of omegaverse? that’s the peak and you just cut it off like nothing? anyway, can we get an extended version because i’m actually getting robbed here.
worth reading, honestly, but i can’t lie, i still felt a bit underwhelmed even if the chapters were kinda long. i get why some people were disappointed about the lack of mpreg, i lowkey expected it too lol. but it also makes sense why it didn’t happen. first, it’s not really what they wanted, it was more kamiya’s instincts pushing the idea of reproduction rather than an actual mutual desire. and during that time, they were still dealing with kamiya’s situation anyway, so having a child would’ve just added more stress, especially with his mental struggles and identity changes. their relationship ending up stable was actually the best part. it worked without forcing a kid into the picture just for closure. the story felt more about their growth and how they stayed together through everything, which honestly mattered more. also, hitomi going through the same disease added real tension and made their bond feel more grounded. not perfect, but solid, especially with how they communicate. at the end of the day, it’s really on the author’s direction, and i think they chose what made the most sense for the characters instead of readers expectations.
this story is so good, i get why everyone was hyping it up before and why people were so disappointed when the issue happened and it stopped. the scene with isaac and cole had me stressed out, like genuinely about to lose it. i’ve never been this affected over a story before. i was this close to punching cole through the screen for being such a shameless creep. but the art style switch caught me so off guard. like why did felix suddenly look like a different person? i was already used to the original style, so adjusting was not it. even the dialogue felt different. still, i need more side stories. it cannot just end like that.

i genuinely have no idea what the author’s thought process was here. the plot is packed with so many pointless events that every chapter feels less like storytelling and more like a ragebait challenge. i swear, this series had real potential at the start, but that’s completely gone now. it also falls into the same trap as a lot of bl manhwas these days. instead of writing a well-developed story with actual logic behind it, they create an absurdly red-flag character and expect readers to forgive everything because of some tragic backstory. apparently, trauma is now a universal coupon for every terrible thing a character does. it’s lazy, overused, and at this point, not even remotely convincing anymore.
