I literally just went 'awwwwww' shout out to the autbore making me forget the r*pe by using good pacing like wtf
factsssssss, the pace literally changed my disposition so quick, im soo embarrassed to admit. The reason is i think to simply is because, the author made me view sungho as continuation as the younger him basically. After that big flashback on dohyun on where he finally remembered in the new setting, i looked at sungho like he was the baby sungho, and nothing more, just basically needing a lot of psychological help.
I typically fucking hateeee rapists, dont care what context, but i backtracked so fast on this i forgave him, thats how you know the pace was JUST right!
Yeah i also think the fact we started high (it happend at the beginning) and then "mellowed" down, like given the drama theory of the "tension build / curve" like conflict at the beginning and build up in the middle makes one subconsciously already think ending pls (thats what i think lol)
Oohh, these types of psychological phenomena that are hard to explain work just right only when it’s done right! If I ever start writing fanfics or fictional books, I’ll have to use that at some point
Fun fact an exampls for messing witb the reader by changing this tropw is gothes iphigenie auf tauris, the whole story is a build up to a bloody final as in most greece tragedies but then it just dosent and it f*ck you up, people who write stuff like that often read its a perfect showcase and really short so maybe ch3ck it out if you havent already minght help, it sure helped me
